Few days back , it was watching Junior Wright prepare at the Chicago Fight Club Gym ...On Wednesday , I was fortunate enough to be able to watch Donovan "da bomb" George prepare for his upcoming match in Cartagena, Columbia for the IBO Super Middleweight Title at the Sam Colonna Boxing Gym located at 2600 W. 35th Street in Chicago, Illinois.
Donovan George (Age 29 ..25 W- 4 lost in 134 rounds boxed) will fight for the vacant IBO title against Alexander Brand (Age 37 ...22 W -1 Lost in 134 rounds boxed ) on May 17th, 2014. Needless to say Donovan will not exactly be the "hometown" favorite Polideportivo, Arjona, Columbia but I can tell you this ...He looks leaner ...faster ..and more ready then I have ever seen him .....If there's any doubts , Check out the pic's ..
