Couple of weeks back , I thought not a lot is going to be happening for the Chicago Boxing community in May , 2014 ....That's OK , if the weather cooperates maybe it's going to be time to spent time on the water's of Lake Beulah, Wisconsin. OK , I was really wrong ....May is shaping up to to be one of the most important months of the year for Chicago Boxing. Unfortunately the fights aren't happening in Chicago but on the World's Stage ..
To celebrate the month of May, last night I went to the Chicago Fight Club Gym located at 4835 n. Elston in the Chicago's Jefferson Park neighborhood to watch Junior Wright spar with a number of very talented fighters training for his upcoming May 15th match in Brooklyn, NY ...One by one he "picked off" three different fighters in sparring fifteen rounds.....These are a few of the images that filled my eyes last night..
On May 15th, Junior Wright ( 10 Wins/ 9 KO's) vs Steve Bujaj (12 Wins/ 9 KO's) at the Millennium Theater in Brooklyn, New York in competition for WBC International title.
