Rocktown # 34 Portrait session

17 fighters …12 plus poses … All in a day’s work - Well , a couple hours of shooting anyway. Funny how it takes longer to setup and tear down then actual shooting and basic editing takes maybe 6 times the shooting time.

Portriat Session for the XFO Pro # 2 Grappling Photo Gallery favorites and link to the complete Photo Gallery Posting.

Last Saturday night , March 18th, 2017 was the Second Installment of the extremely poplar  XFO Pro Two Grappling Matches which was held at the Home Bar in Arlington Heights, Illinois.  It was XFO MMA the Midwest Premier MMA promoter kicking off Spring with their second  Pro Grappling/ Jiu Jitsu matches with one of  many events coming up in 2017.

 Tomba-Images Photography had the honor to capture images of all the fighters at a pre-fight Portrait session before the matches took place.

The Tomba-Images Traveling studio once again did what we do , some of the numbers involved in the Photo sesssion are;

-Hour and 15 minutes to bring in gear and setup ;

- We captured images of 19 fighters , with missing the following six fighters;

-Nic Steinberg- John Maestre-Chris Beverly-Red Schafer-Zack Karr- Alex Nash- All we can do is keep yelling out that there's a limited amount of time and for everyone who's on the card to come see me ASAP;

-Started photographying with first fighter at 5:06PM and the last one of Mike Marrello at 6.24PM ...Tear Down loading car 30 Minutes;

- 195 images of the 19 fighters with various poses , average time with/ posing fighter two minutes.

Portrait session from the XFO RockTown Showdown #29 February 25th 2017

I am just photog though my story's seldom told ...I have squandered my resistance for a pocket full of mumbles ...Such are promises , all lies and jest ...

In his anger and his shame he cried out "I am leaving, I am leaving" but the photographer still remains.

On Saturday  night , February 25th , 2017 the Midwest's Premier MMA Promoter " XFO MMA  held the   "XFO Rocktown Showdown # 29 at one of my favorite venue's ,Giovanni's in Rockford, Illinois. On fight night , we held a portrait session of all fighters on the card. As is the normal , the lenght of time I put the fighters in front of my camera was from 45 seconds to two minutes ...This is the fast paced world of photography , do you remember the days of having minutes to pose subjects ??? Not in my world !!!

Mark your calendar for Saturday March 11th, 2017 for upcoming XFO# 60 Pro/Am MMA matches being held at the UIC Forum 725 West Roosevelt Road, Chicago Illinois.  It's a stacked card at one of the finest venues in the Mid-west..You do not  want to miss this one.

One week later, its the XFO-Grappling#2 at the H.O.M.E. Bar in Arlington Heights, Illinois on Saturday March 18th.
