January 15, 2012 Lake Beulah , Wisconsin

Yesterday it was the first Lake Beulah Ice Report ....If I may follow in that theme and since its my blog I may. Today was the day of first's ...

1) First Ice House on the lake (really a hut/ tent but the first I have seen);

2) First time Deb and Tanner on the lake in 2012 (and no it's not really that cold, Deb just makes it look that way;

3) First four wheel tracks on the lake ,didn't go far but the guy (if it was a guy could have been a girl?) had brass balls;

The fourth pic I just liked seeing the Ice House's lined up ready to be pulled on the lake. Of course, not beening on the Ice didn't the stop the Ice House nearest the lake from being used. There were 3 guy's drinking beer and looked like having pizza watching "tip-up's" enjoying the day...According to them, the ice is 3" to 4"..

Deb and Tanner walked till them found their feet in slush abd that was the end of the lake walk. We are just not as brave as the four wheeler person.
