Fourth of July Recap ..Little bit of everything

Fourth of July Holiday weekends .............Little bit of everything goes on at the lake during Holiday weekends and the year of 2014 was no different. On Wednesday July 2nd , it was was a grey , rainy , cold day day and then the weather gods smile on us for the 3rd through the 6th.

Clicking on "Old Glory " will bring it to a light box .......How can you not love Johnny Cash and is there anything more American then  " 'The man in Black" ? 

We had family dinners , family photo's , watching fireworks from the Debside, quick photo session of Elevate Flyboard giving lessons, even a little Flex TT5's Tomba Rock & Roll light stand (patent pending) testing ,  pretty much a little of everything.  Of course, the stars of the weekend were Ashley and Cora and will be for a really long time.

  We all missed Tanner but he was in our hearts....

In Chicago (Downtown) till Monday or Tuesday July 15th ....

How about them "Bucky Steaks" ..

Dinner with Chris and Sue ..Very nice evening, great to see them and catch up with family.

1 and 3/4" steaks ...2 minutes sear on each side -cover closed ...Turn sear off ..Three minutes each side with cover closed ..........With these I did an extra 45 seconds on each side ( Not necessary ) ..Set time 4 minutes ! 

Tonight leftovers...But really good left overs .  

Tomorrow, Deb's back in Chi-Town ...Me, I will be working on some photo-books for the next three days .. and play with setting up the new Go-Pro ..

April 25th 2014 Lake Sunset ..

One inch Pork Chops ...4 1/2 minutes on each side -Medium heat -cover closed -Five minutes set time.  Needs a little more time 5 1/2 minutes .. .Maybe High heat to sear grill rack for presentation.
