On Saturday , April first 2017 , I had the distinct honor and privilege to be in the same room (and be able to photograph) the greats in the Illinois Martial Arts during the 2017 Illinois Martial Arts Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Abbington Banquets in Glenn Ellyn, Illinois. Far to many names to list but Illinois Martial Arts hero's like Juan Miguel Moreno , Dr. Joe Takehara and Lorraine Lissner to just name a few of the eighteen inductee's into the class of 2017 were in attendance.
